This is one of the newest style pens, introduced just recently from Naturally Write. Concava is a contemporary styled twist pen, with an exciting concave shaped upper barrel unlike anything else. The bi-level center band sets off a comfortable sized front pen barrel from the larger concave upper barrel that fits nicely in the curve of your hand when writing. Concava is a "pen only" model that uses readily available Cross style refills.

This pen was made using a laminated wood blank, where small strips of contrasting wood are glued together and then turned to create a contemporary looking all natural but very colorful pen. The woods used in this particular pen are Maple (the light wood), Walnut (the dark wood) and Bloodwood (the red colored wood). Take a look at the photos. You will hardly believe the 2 photos are of the same pen.
