This is one of the newest style pens, introduce just recently from Naturally Write. Concava is a contemporary styled twist pen, with an exciting concave shaped upper barrel unlike anything else. The bi-level center band sets off a comfortable sized front pen barrel from the larger concave upper barrel that fits nicely in the curve of your hand when writing. Concava is a "pen only" model that uses readily available Cross style refills.

Bocote is a dense and highly figured hardwood from southern Mexico. It is responsibly harvested by low impact means, using donkeys and hand saws to cut down the trees and remove them from the site, while leaving the rest of the vegetation intact. Trees are replanted for a sustainable harvest.

The golden blonde wood streaked with dark brown to black lines make this a very attractive, stand out wood for any model pen, but is particularly striking in the Concava model that cuts across the grain in convex and concave curves.
